From Gravel to Great

We can talk all we want about thoughtful garden design, but the proof is in the results! That’s why we like to revisit projects from time to time and show you how we help our clients create outdoor spaces they love.

This Seattle client was seeking a backyard spot for dining and a fire pit—and the existing gravel patio was sorely lacking. We designed an enlarged, upgraded space with concrete pavers and a retaining wall that also provides seating. A new landing at the base of the steps from the deck allows for safe entry to the patio while adding a visually interesting wood element to the garden. Perfect for those beautiful summer and fall evenings!
